Member Care: Ensure members can receive emotional and spiritual support and have opportunities to participate in building a vibrant Silver Spire community.

- Offer education and training to everyone on how to access and provide member care
- Develop a process that ensures folks are receiving the support they desire
- Create a comprehensive compilation of members, their stories and skills
- Provide opportunities for social interaction
Spiritual Growth: Create and enhance opportunities for deepening our spirituality
Strategies
- Design worship that is inclusive, interactive, intergenerational and relevant to today’s society
- Invite guest speakers from other faith communities to share insights on spirituality
- Offer educational opportunities through small group, workshops, and conferences that explore theological beliefs
Social Justice and Advocacy: Work for a more just and equitable society by advocating for better policies and facilitating services that address mental health, addictions, housing and food security

- Create educational opportunities for the congregation and the general public to understand the issues
- Facilitate discussion opportunities
- Work with individuals and organizations to ascertain where and how Silver Spire can positively effect change
- Engage in advocacy activities
Community Engagement: Improve our understanding of and affirm of the 2sLGBTQIA communities, communities historically harmed by the church, marginalized people; and engage our downtown neighbours

- Learn how to engage and support marginalized people and those who care about them
- Build relationships with neighbours through regular educational events with downtown organizations
- Redesign the sanctuary to fulfill the mission of Silver Spire, accommodate the needs of the community and maximize its use
